Jeannette Frey: LIBER's strategy supporting the roles of libraries in the open science environment
LIBER is currently formulating its strategy for the years 2017-2022. The presentation will give insights in LIBER's vision for 2022 and the goals of the LIBER strategy. It will further describe the current strategy process, results of interviews of researchers and stakeholders, and how LIBER libraries have already and still can participate in the process. It will then focus on the changing roles of research libraries, activities that will probably be less important or disappear in the years to come, new activity fields in which research libraries should go into, and last but not least, the fields in which research libraries currently are strong and should remain strong in the future.
